Over the past few weeks our team held 5 different events, serving every child in our feeding centers. Dia de niño is a moment to celebrate how awesome these kids are- and that they’re seen and known by God. The team reminded kids that the greatest treasure ever known- in our relationship with God. We are so thankful for the many people who hold our team together- making it easier to reach those here in Honduras

What a great day with our favorite people!! Today is Dia de Niño and we had the honor of showing our Wednesday Bible Club just how much we live them. We have the very beat team who always give their best! It was a great day

✨🦜🏴‍☠️ Capitán Patadepalo made his grand appearance today… leading the kids in our feeding programs on an adventure to discover the greatest treasure ever known!

This month, we’re kicking off our Children’s Day celebrations. Thanks to the creativity of our amazing MA, we’ve launched a special program that will be replicated across all of our sites throughout the month—making sure every child gets to celebrate in a big way! 🥳❤️

Jenni has missed Wednesdays the past few weeks to be closer to their Little. Today all the kids were full of hugs when they saw she made it back. This sweet girl wanted a picture and had a hard time leaving her side. We are so thankful to get to invest in the lives of these beautiful kiddos!

We are so grateful to be part of building a home for this faithful pastor and his family!The walls are up and much of the inside is ready—but we’re still believing for the final piece: a roof to cover this precious family.

Over the past five years, they’ve poured their lives into planting a new church in this community. By providing a pastoral home near the church, we’ll help them continue the work God has called them to.

We thank God for what’s been done—and we trust Him for the work still ahead.

Dream Team!! This morning we met with core leadership, preparing for the final phases to complete the church in Satuye. We have been a part of this church since their first meeting, hoping to plant an establish a church in a community that had no church. Since then we have watched this church continue to grow and become more and more healthy. This year we will finish construction on an actual building so that it’s members can finally have a place to call home. God is doing amazing things!

It has taken over two years to see the completion of this feeding center in this village. It had been met with opposition from local buyeis (shaman) who were resisting the church from serving the community, persuading others to push against construction. We have seen God’s faithfulness, helping to install a local Garifuna pastor which helped the community to see the commitment to remaining indigenous. This feeding center is bustling each week, providing hot meals and Discipleship to sometimes over 80 kids. The kitchen was complete in February of this year, but yesterday was our first time to visit. Thank you @newmanjake30 and Encounter Church for everything!

These past few weeks have been a little overwhelming, we have still maintained a pretty busy schedule with ministry while taking care of some personal things with our family. This month all across Honduras is the month of the family, where all of the topics focus around healthy families. This past Sunday, Jenni had the opportunity to preach on prodigals and how we has parents are called to respond.

The past few weeks have been a little crazy- but we wanted to celebrate Ms Bella who arrived last week. She is a recent graduate and @chialphausa who has chosen to give her first year of teaching to missions. She will be teaching english language arts to at risk kids at our church’s school. We are so thankful for her ‘yes’ and that she has joined the HolaHope team!

Saturday Jenni had the chance to be speaker at the Missionettes camp. The theme this year was Ready to God, and focused on missions.

Today we finish painting the cabins at the camp, and today was our last official working day. We ended the day with two events in the city. The Kansas youth have poured out their sweat and their love and their energy all over Honduras. We are so thankful for all of their work this week.

What a way to end the day!!! We visited a Garifuna community where the kids met us with greetings in their unique language. The team played, performed and practiced the Jesus way for these awesome kids! Our team has volunteers sharing their testimonies and we could not be more proud!

Just a few of our favorite workers today, but we’re missing so many. Today this team worked tirelessly, completing the outsides of all the cabins in spite of the heat, we never heard one complaint. These young men and women brought only joy and energy today.

What a day! The team spent seven hours priming the cabins, gearing up to paint tomorrow. After working in the heat all day, they loaded in the van and headed to a church for an event. The plan was for 30 children, however, over 80 children came. It was a blessed time With the team, sharing testimonies, and giving a great object lesson. We are so proud of these young people and their hard work!

First day working with the Kansas AIM team!! This morning we attended Church, and the students were able to participate in a bilingual service getting to know other students their own age. This afternoon we headed off to camp to begin prepping for paint tomorrow, training for our children’s evangelism and enjoying some local fruits.

This year our team has been able to launch an Impact Center in a vulnerable area of the city. Midweek kids come for a hot meal and discipleship. The program in this area has a strong volunteer team and @angiegrande95 our Impact Coordinator continues to empower them to eventually be able to run it all on their own. These programs run because of the many people like you- who support the ministry of HolaHope. Thank you for being a part of this smile!

Today we were able to host a cooking class for at-risk women here in the city. It was absolutely beautiful with experienced cooks teaching women valuable skills to make their own, creating spaces for entrepreneurs. Women from our church worked alongside volunteers who coached them on their skills. We are so thankful for the doors God has opened to allow us to partner with government agencies and how he is connecting the national church to be the hands and feet. Today was a good day.

We have been serving this Garifuna community for the past 4 years, proving weekly discipleship and hot meals to the children here! This program works directly with local church leaders to help them reach out to those who are unchurched

We love that the little is on summer break, more time with us and watching her love others. It has been great this week having her help run our kids programs

What an incredible day spent serving. Today we were able to serve over 70 people who receive new glasses, over 20 people were seen by a foot doctors, hygiene packs were given out to women, and we are able to visit a home to distribute hygiene packs and reusable diapers to mothers with children in intensive care. Our team still continue to work building walls for the new Pastor‘s house. We are overwhelmed with the kindness and commitment for excellence that this team has. We are so thankful for every active love that they have demonstrated this week.

This week, our team had the opportunity to do four children’s events, two of those were in public schools. The team did an amazing job, and one service had an amazing move from the Holy Spirit. It never gets old, watching the joy that comes from serving the kids here

Crosspoint Day 1- Changing lives and generations to come. The team is building a pastoral home for the small church.

Each week, our Impact Program reaches five communities across two states, serving children from diverse cultural backgrounds. These children come to receive not only a hot meal, but also spiritual nourishment through weekly discipleship, led by faithful local volunteers. Behind the scenes, @angiegrande95 —our devoted project coordinator—ensures everything runs smoothly.

Because of your generosity, we’re able to equip each site with the supplies they need to continue sharing the love of Christ with these young hearts. Thank you for partnering with us to make an eternal impact!

We wish it was possible for you to see all the many people who make this ministry possibly. Whether it be helping us run teams with evangelism, cooking meals for the team, translating, sewing, volunteering at our feeding centers, teaching discipleship at our programs, making bags for our projects, helping with our kids, preaching when we can’t…. There are so many people who are kind enough to give there time and talents to serving Jesus alongside us and we aren’t sure if we will ever be able to show enough gratitude for how sweet they are to us!

Shoutout of to Curtis and Ashley who were officially commissioned this week as missionary associates. This was a full week for their family to learn and grow and establish their calling and trajectory for there next step- which happens to be joining our team! We are asking you to pray for them as they continue to raise there funds. The task is great, and the workers really are a few. They are currently raising funds in Illinois, if you know of churches, or people in that great state, please connect with them and help them get them to Honduras. @ashley.kettner @curtiskettner

What a great week with Cross Assembly from North Carolina. This team built new classrooms for a rural church. They had three school programs and four community programs for kids, and a very special worship night! Such a joy!!!

Last day of ministry- the team ended with a community event for the local kids. This team gave so much from moving block to investing with kids. We are so thankful for the week

Today beams were poured making way for the roof. Lifting and hauling buckets took so many hands. Tonight we had a beautiful evening of worship to start closing up the week

These woman brought their A game today while mixing and pouring the columns needed to support the roof. Our evangelism team went into a Garifuna school where several children made a beautiful decision to follow Jesus.

This week we are so thankful to host Cross Assembly from North Carolina. Together they are helping to build Sunday school rooms for a church who has outgrown most if there space. Day one of building walls

Today our optical team joined forces with our church to provide care to over 100 people who came to a medical brigade to this very rural village. Together we were able to provide medical consults, medicine, glasses, evangelism and pray— as well as build new building for Sunday school. It is amazing what we can accomplish when we do it together. So thankful for El Faro for being our partners and family in Honduras.

This weekend we had the honor of serving at our teen camp. Pray for this generation and what God has in store for them.

GOD’S PERFECT TIMING- This week has been hot, with temperatures in the 90s and the heat index in the triple digits. Most people live and work with no AC. These record breaking numbers are extremely dangerous to a vulnerable population.

This week is Carnaval and because of that our church hosts teen camp to keep the youth from being a part of the lifestyle choices occurring in town. The camp will be full of teens packed together with dangerously high temperatures.

However, God knew! At the beginning of the year a church reached out to us as asked to fill a need. They entirely funded AC for all the 3 of the large cabins.

It has taken time to get all the electrical ran. They actually had to put in a new transformer so that the camp could use that much energy.

Tomorrow students arrive and today the finally pieces came together to make the camp safer for those gathering to grow in Jesus. Who would have ever known about the hear wave coming- except God.

God’s timing was perfect and we are so thankful to the generous donation that made all of this possible.

Yesterday our team formally launched our new Impact Program providing hot meals and discipleship to this Garifuna community. This community will provide meals three times a week to this vulnerable area, alongside weekly lessons grounding this children in Jesus. Thank you so much @angiegrande95 and your investment in this program.

The Tolupan are an indigenous people group living in the rugged region of central Honduras known as the Montaña de la Flor. While we were constructing a feeding center on their reservation last month, we had the honor of meeting the Chief of the Ceiba tribe (total of 31 unique tribes)

He welcomed us—and the pastors from our church—onto their protected land and shared his heart- this land is normally only accessible to tribal members. As he pointed to the top of the mountain, he told us how God had touched his life. A life transformed. Now, he dreams of building a church in his community—an area surrounded by barbed wire fences and only accessible by a narrow mountain road.

He longs to reach the families living even further up the mountain.

In a sacred and powerful moment, we came together—hearts united with the chief, the local missionary, and community leaders—and lifted our voices in fervent prayer over the land. We invited the Holy Spirit to flood that place. With faith, we asked God to transform this soil into holy ground, a sanctuary where His presence would dwell and His people would gather to worship.

Friends, this is what national missionaries are doing: living and working alongside this unreached people group.

Friends, your generosity makes this possible, demonstrating Christ’s love through feeding centers for children in these villages. This opens the door to discipleship. It opens the door to hearts.

Friends, this is the work of the Holy Spirit, because the harvest is ready.

We are believing for the church this chief will build. We are believing for the harvest among the Tolupan people.

Currently each Saturday Jenni is teaching at the local annex of the Bible Institute. We passionately believe that investing in raising national leaders is sowing the seeds for the Harvest that is to come.

Today BIG things started! We delivered the food that will launch the new Impact Program in this Garifuna community. This has been a prayer for many years and God made it possible through our partnership with Convoy of Hope. Three times a week vulnerable children will make their way to this center to get a hot meal and learn about Jesus!!! It is only together that these things are possible! @convoyofhope

Jesus said, “Follow me!” This weeks lesson is such a beautiful reminder of the disciples they are becoming!

Please join us in welcoming Isabella Mcwilliams, from the great state of Oklahoma, to our Hola Hope team. In just a few weeks, she will graduate from Northeastern State University with her teaching degree. This fall, she will join our team as our first teacher abroad, serving in our church’s Christian bilingual school for the ‘25-‘26 school year!

This school is committed to making quality education accessible to all families. One way we do that is through our teaching abroad program, which helps lower student tuition costs. Isabella has decided to give her first year of teaching to the children of Honduras.

Education in Honduras is a privilege, not a guarantee. Only 30% of children attend high school, as the government does not provide free education beyond 6th grade. Only 51% of students complete their education at the primary level.

She is working to meet her budget by July. Will you join us in praying for her fundraising efforts?

Welcome to our Hola Hope team, Isabella!!!

Today our optical team (all volunteers) traveled up into a mountain village where we partnered with the local pastors to serve 50 people in need of glasses. We are so thankful for @compassionlink for giving is the training to use this evangelical tool.

We are better together!! This week we have a guest missionary from El Salvador helping us, plus Angie and a fabulous volunteer. We could never say it too many times, we serve with the best! This new program we launched continues to bring midweek discipleship to these precious kids, while helping the let cal church connect and build relationships with these families. Thank you @angiegrande95 for your leadership in this project!

Thank you BGMC for helping us bring a dry place for the Talupan children to come get a hot meal and the word of God. Together we are reaching those who lack access to the gospel, by providing tangible ways to show the love of Jesus. We just ned to put the walls up!!!

This past weekend we had the honor of serving beside our local church. We traveled 12 hours into a remote mountain reservation. This area is home to the Tolupan people. We were able to construct a feeding center, provide a children’s event for nearly 400 kids, serve over 200 families bags of clothes and toys, and feed everyone (we lost count at 600 plates). Five of the seven tribes came, helping to reach this hard to reach, marginalized area where most still practice traditional religion mixed with catholicism. This couldn’t have been possible without those who served beside us. Thank you for allowing us to go!

Please pray with us as we depart tomorrow at 4am, heading 11 hours into the remote mountain region of the Tolupane people, a forgotten people group of Honduras who live on a reservation. Together with our local church we will providing evangelism and outreach to 7 tribes and nearly 400 children. Because of @agbgmc we will finish the final pieces of a feeding center that not only will provide nourishment and the word of God, but also creates unity among conflicting tribes. We are so thankful to the kids who invest in BGMC, and for the chance to show the love of Jesus during the holiest of weeks.

Today our team had the honor of leading 120 kids in a children’s service alongside Pastor Frank. The sweetest moment was when the children blessed us with their own music in their traditional language. Honduras is so rich in culture and the beauty of it’s people.

Construction has started on the feeding center for the indigenous area of the Tolupan, helping to bring the tribes together to be able to share the gospel. We are so thankful to be able to partner with our national church here to make this project possible.
